FIAT is very cooperative!

Heute möchte ich mich hier mal für die Kooperationsbereitschaft von Fiat bezüglich meines 127 bedanken!

Ich habe vor ein paar Tagen eine Email-Anfrage bezüglich eines Technischen Datenblattes für den Wagen an Fiat geschickt, da ich ja keinen Fahrzeugbrief besitze, sondern nur die Verfügungsberechtigung in Form eines Kaufvertrages (mit dem damaligen Verwerter), sowie einen alten TÜV-Bericht von 1995.

Ich wurde sehr freundlich treated equally and not dismissed or even ignored, as one would expect at some other at such an old car.

The answer mail came the next day and there were also questions the data of the nameplate.

2 days later I had a letter from Fiat homologation in the mail with the necessary papers and receipts. Incidentally, I now know that the car has run in March 1981 by the band (also in March 2011 is vintage).

I am very excited!

the wagon is going on in the last few weeks, he is removed to the rear axle complete, a lot of rock fall protection is already removed. End März ist Termin zum Sandstrahlen und Grundieren (damits nicht gleich wieder rostet). Ich denke, die Schweißarbeiten werden im Sommer abgeschlossen sein. Mit Lackierern steh ich auch schon in Verhandlung. Habe mir ein ordentliches Lager eingerichtet, wo die demontierten und auch Neuteile für den Wagen gelagert sind und nicht nach "Haufenprinzip" rumliegen.

Übrigens: im Handschuhfach war ein weiteres Mäusenest (wie damals im Schweller) ;-)
