long has it been since it was the last song of the week but now, in 2011, run

me from the front - hence song of the week nr. 1. .

this weeks song of the week is from animal neon trees with

first of all some information about the band:

neon trees a rock band are from Provo, Utah, the neighbors of the tyler glenn and

Chris Allen was founded. later on and branden elaine campbell bradley

came to band. auf tour werden sie auch oft von david charles als keyboarder und gitarrist

begleitet. sie waren zwar seit ihrer gründung in ihrer heimat bekannt aber zum

internationalen durchbruch kam es erst 2008 als sie the killers auf ihrer nordamerika

tour als vorband begleiteten. 2010 erschien ihr erstes album "habits" und die erste

singleauskoppelung ist "animal" welche es in den alternative rock charts auf platz 1

schaffte.

ich persönlich finde das lied hat absolutes ohrwurmpotenzial und ich könnt es mir

andauernd anhören. außerdem macht das video richtig lust auf sommer.

its a new year and thats the reason why i start the song of the week list again. the first
song of the week 2011 is from neon trees "animal".

neon trees is a band from provo, utah and it was found by the neighbors tyler glenn and
chris allen. later branden campbell and elaine bradley enjoyed the band. david charles
also plays with the band as touring keyboardist and guitarist. they were a well known
band in their hometown provo but they didn't receive nationalwide exposure until late
2008 when they were chosen as openers for several of the killers'north american tour
dates. 2010 they released their first album called "habits" and their first single was "animal"
which climed to #1 on the alternative rock charts.

well i really love the song and the video makes me to want summer again.
